I just completed seven speaking engagements in nine days. I know for some that’s nothing but it’s probably the most intensive week of speaking I’ve had. It felt like a small tour.

A big thanks to LevinLife Church, Emit Youth, Soul Survivor Central (Fielding) and South (Christchurch), Grace Vineyard and the leadership there who hosted Soul Survivor in New Brighton (and of course my good friend Sam Harvey along with his lovely wife, Jen and their boy Eli), the youth of Mt Roskill Baptist and the main congregation there this morning, who all trusted me to pick up a microphone and say something worthwhile. It is always a privilege to be entrusted to speak anywhere. I hope I never lose that sense that each time I’m asked, I’m being given a special opportunity.

Thanks to each group for hosting me as well. I feel humbled by the reception I got in each place. It was a real pleasure.

Now I’m going to take the chance to kick back, relax, enjoy the rugby tonight and a day off with my family tomorrow.
