As part of TEAR Fund’s latest campaign, Pay it Forward, I had this video made with the guys from Noggin and Film Construction. We explored generosity and what it would mean to take the generosity shown to us and pay it forward with no expectation of return.
The video looks at the story of Perry. I won’t explain Perry’s story to you as it’s there in the video. Perry’s story is challenging as it works against our natural reaction to such events, but it’s a good challenge. It asks us what generosity is, what it would look like for us to live it out and what it would mean for us to pay it forward.
TEAR Fund’s Pay it Forward campaign captures the nature of some of the projects we support in countries like Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Cambodia where the ‘pay it forward’ idea is captured within the nature of how the projects work. Check it out.
