I am slowly coming to the realization that photography, as a creative outlet, keeps me sane. Though it is something I am not amazing at, when I allow it to get crowded out by the busyness of life, my sanity suffers. My sanity also suffers when I allow others to co-opt that creative outlet for their own demands. It is something I must give space to and protect even when other things seem more important. It is one part of who I am that helps keep me human.
